Merchandising Specialist

The Merchandising Specialist is primarily responsible for supporting all sales channels providing service, information and direction in the Promotional Solutions and Apparel product categories. Uses creative thinking to identify promotional products that will support branding and marketing objectives. Participates in team brainstorming sessions, provides ideas and input towards growth of the promotional solutions business segment.
Job Responsibilities:
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience: HS/GED and 2 years or Associate’s and 0 years
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Merchandising or Business
Experience: 2 years Promotional Product and Apparel, Sales Support
Creative skills – Ability to present creative ideas via visually appealing presentations.
High level of attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to multitask
Knowledge of industry search engine/presentation software (ESP and/or SAGE),
Extensive knowledge of decoration techniques for promotional products and apparel.
Creative skills – Ability to merchandise and generate creative branding and marketing solutions (campaigns) using promotional products.
Art creation skills with Adobe Illustrator or similar software.
Knowledge of customer specific inventory and fulfillment programs
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
